Campervan rental in Chile

Susana and Pedro are one of the most warm and loving people we have met. They helped us plan the entire trip trough Patagonia. They took all the time in the world and were sincerely interested in us. Patagonia was wonderful and if one day we will come back, we will definitely book again with Susana and Pedro. The van itself is cozy and has everything you need. You can cook inside and turn the bed into two seats. It is easy to drive and can be parked almost anywhere. Home is where you park it! 

If you want to experience a road trip through Patagonia on a really personal level, this is very highly recommended. Pedro and Susana - prior to booking - already helped so much with possible itinaries and tours we could do along our trip. Also, when starting our trip, we stayed one night in their friends house and Pedro and Susana even cooked a delicious meal while conveying useful tips for Patagonia. Futhermore, they also saved us by foreseeing the ferry would be sold out during high-season (hornopiren - Caleto Gonzalo) and Pedro helped booking our tickets months in advance. We spoke too many people who needed to turn around since the ferry was fully booked. During the trip communication went very smooth. For instance, we lost a 'tapa de combustible' and, after not succeeding to find a new one ourselves, we received great assistance from Pedro and Susana. We were really happy to have booked one of their vans, and enjoyed every single minute through Patagonia.

Wij zouden het huren van een campervan bij Susana en Pedro iedereen aanraden. Ze bieden alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fantastische reis in Patagonië. De bus is handig ingedeeld en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, is leuk ingericht en motorisch en technisch erg sterk. De onverharde en soms steile wegen kon hij prima aan. Daarnaast zijn Pedro en Susana erg gastvrij en helpen ze met het plannen van de ideale route en kan je ze tijdens je hele reis makkelijk bereiken voor al je vragen. Na 5 weken met deze bus reizen was het moeilijk om afscheid te nemen!

We had a very good experience with Vanlife. Pedro and Susana are very friendly and do more than only renting you a campervan. They offer you advice on places to visit, help you with arranging ferries if needed and coordinate with local mechanics if there is any technical difficulty. They also made a chat group with other travellers to share advices with each other, which is also very helpful. All in all you feel more like a person that actually matters to them, then being 'one among many' in other rental companies. Value to money is good. Highly recommended!

The owners were really friendly and always very helpfull. They helped us scheduling a perfect roadtrip that suits our wishes. Also during our stay we could ask them if we had questions or problems.

Susana and Pedro's van was incredible. We rented it for a month and loved every minute of it. The layout in the van was very smart and allowed my family to sleep comfortably. There is also ample storage. The hosts are awesome too. Anything that you need, they are there. They have great advice and know their van inside and out. They are good people. I looked at and spoke to every campervan operation in both Chile and Argentina and went with them. You won't get that personal attention from the other companies. Strong recommendation. We will use them again when we head back down here.

Pedro & Susana were so kind to us during our Patagonia adventure. They helped us by buying ferry tickets when our US credit cards wouldn’t work with the website, checked in with us regularly to make sure things were going smoothly, and had a generally laid-back and cool attitude about the whole process. When we had some trouble with the van mechanically Pedro immediately coordinated with a mechanic to get it sorted out. The van was very comfortable for sleeping, had all cooking equipment we needed, and plenty of storage for food. We definitely recommend working with this sweet family.

​We had a fantastic trip in Patagonia with Pedro’s camper van “Mishu”. We went through the hardest roads and didn’t have any issue. Very comfortable and functional , well equipped campervan, with a big advantage of a solar panel, allowing us to charge our phones anytime , being completely independent of camping grounds and letting us go wherever we wanted. Also, Pedro is an amazing host, giving us tips for the roads, itinerary, calling companies to book ferries, being very responsive to any questions and also extremely flexible on dates and places. Overall exceptional experience , would highly recommend renting a camper van from Pedro , value for money is much higher than any other big campervan company.

Es war eine unglaublich wunderbare Zeit in Chile. Wir durften mit dem Van "Bitcha", der super ausgestattet ist, viele Abenteuer in der Natur erleben. Bitcha ermöglichte uns einen einfacheren und sicheren Zugang zu vielen Klettergebieten und Naturphänomen wie Gletscher, Vulkane, Wasserfälle und Trekkings. Zugleich wurde Bitcha während mehr als einem Monat unser gemütliches Zuhause auf vier Rädern. Das schätzten wir vor allem dann, wenn "einmal" der Patagonienwind draussen tobte, während wir drinnen gemütlich was kochten. Pedro und Susanna sind zwei sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, die sich sehr viel Zeit für dich nehmen und ganz viel Herzblut in die Sache stecken. Ausserdem erhielten wir immer sehr viele gute Tipps und Unterstützung, wenn mal etwas nicht ganz nach Plan lief. Am Ende unserer Reise wurden wir von der Corona-Welle überrascht. Weil eine Heimreise nach Europa (Schweiz) zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr schwierig war, luden uns Pedro & Susanna zu sich nach Hause ein. Da durften wir einige wunderbare Tage mit der Familie verbringen. Wir sind extrem dankbar für jedes Gespräch, für die gemeinsamen Lieder, das leckere Essen, die gemeinsamen Spiele mit den Kindern und die Offenheit, die uns entgegengebracht wurde. We had a great time in Mishu! The van was cosy and warm with enough space for two people. Limited cooking utensils were supplied but was enough to make dinner easily. The van was easy to drive, especially on dirt roads and in the wind! We had some minor battery troubles when in Argentina but Pedro was amazing at sorting it out as quickly as possible from Chile and we were kept informed the whole time, it didn’t spoil our trip at all. Pedro was great at keeping in contact and very helpful. We would recommend to anyone wanting to explore more independently, thank you Pedro and Susana.

We had an amazing time with 'Niki' for 44days exploring Chile and Argentina from everywhere between Bariloche to Arica. Pedro and Susana are super helpful with tips on places to go, setting us up with the car, and advice on flat tyres :) Possibly our best Airbnb ever. Definitely recommended Thanks guys J&K

We had an amazing trip with our campervan. The van itself is really comfortable and has everything you need. Susana and Pedro provided all the paperwork which made it very easy for us. The van was very comfortable to drive and we never had a problem. Also steep hills or dirtroads were not a problem. It felt like a cosy little house. It was difficult to say goodbye to the Mishu! Besides from the van Susana and Pedro were great hosts. They made a group Whatsapp where they shared local tips. If we had questions we could message them any time. Their respons is always very quick. Even more special was their hospitallity. When we arrived to drop of the van they invited us for dinner and we could stay even another night at their house (a beautiful place in the middle of nature) the next day they even took us to a party of their friends. Unfortunately we couldnt stay longer but we would have loved to. To summarize: great hosts, an awesome van, value for money (cheaper than the renting companies) and many local tips and help along the way. We hope to rent a van again with vanlife!

Pedro and Susana are great, easy to communicate with and helpfull if you need it. They built Bicha with love and everything you need is there. They gave us many tips for routes and nice things to do along the way. We did a lot of wildcamping wich is thé best experience if you have a campervan like this. We drove from Chilian to Ushuaia and back to Puerto Natales and had a great time. We totally recommend renting one of their vans.

We chose to pick up the van in Puerto Montt. That was mit a problem at all and everything worked Out perfectly. We changed the dropp off place during the trip and that was no problem at all. Susan and Pedro were absolutely uncomplicated and flexible. The bus was clean, absolutely perfectly equipped and in a perfect technical state. We didn't have any problems with it whatsoever. Susan and Pedro where far more than just a Car hiring firm. They were always there for us. Not only did they always provide us with helpful information concerning our plans and trajectory during the trip they also offered us to come to their home and recover when we went through a rough patch because our baby was sick. It almost felt like having family in Chile. They really are wonderful people and we are very glad we found them. Our trip was a wonderful experience and wouldn't have been the same without them.

Forget travel agencies, tour busses and bigger motorhome companies. Pedro and Suzanna travelled a lot theirselves, so they know exactly what you need. This van drives smoothly, is spacious for two people and takes you to places where big rigs can’t get to. We came to love this van as our own home, making their slogn ‘home is where you park it’ something that couldn’t be more true. Highly, highly, but we mean VERY highly recommended to all that seek authenticity at its max.

Great and relaxed hosts. Car is well equipped and easy to handle, even over the uneven pists. Tent can be set up in a few seconds and gives a feeling of glamping with the comfortable mattresses, pillows and sleeping bags provided ;)

Experiencia Increíble con Mishu! La furgoneta está en buenas condiciones para poder recorrer grandes rutas por Chile, incluso nos pudo llevar por la carretera austral. La comunicacion con Pedro y Susana es muy fluida y ayudan en todo momento para que el viaje sea perfecto, tanto a nivel de la furgoneta, como sugerencias sobre la ruta! Furgoneta amplia y confortable para dos personas, con gran capacidad de almacenaje. Un gran viaje por la Patagonia chilena, gracias a Mishu, Pedro, Susana y Antu!

Words can't describe what an outstanding experience I had exploring southern Chile in Pedro and Susana's Vanlife van. I was able to go wherever I wanted to go and do it at my own pace. If I found a beautiful spot to camp for the night I could just pull in among the trees, or onto the shore of one of Chile's unbelievably beautiful lakes. If the weather brought rain or cold, I could opt for a hostel. The van was well equipped to allow me to do whatever beckoned me to see and do. If you value independence and seek to explore the natural beauty Chile has to offer, you will love your time spent living the Vanlife.

Where to start??? Pedro and his family are amazing, cut and super kind!!! We would have loved to spend much time with them and learn more about them!!! The experience traveling in this region of chile is just great and this little van make it even nicer!! Super easy and nice to drive!!! The camper is smartly built and super fonctional !!! You will found all you need in it!! We slept really well in it with really warm covers!!! We loved this experience and will definitely do it again for a next trip in Chile!!! Thanks Pedro!!!

Quoi de mieux pour visiter le Chili que ce magnifique camper van ! Petit et fonctionnel, il nous a permis de sillonner les routes de la région des lacs. Nous avons pu la découvrir d'une autre manière et de s'arrêter quand bon nous semble. Le propriétaire et sa compagne nous ont très bien accueilli et ont étaient présent tout au long de notre voyage pour toutes questions. Super expérience que nous vous conseillons fortement.
